Eligibility to apply: You can take the English test from the first semester of admission
Application period: Applications are to be submitted to the department office according to the specified period of time on the academic calendar at the beginning of the semester.
Acceptance criteria: 70 or more out of 100 points are required
Acceptable English test replacements are listed below:
TOEFL 61 points or higher (based on the Internet-Based TOEFL Total)
TOEIC 700 points or higher
Teps Grade 2 (601 or higher)
CelP Grade 2 or higher
Other certified English Proficiency Tests recognized by the Graduate School President obtained a score higher than TOEIC and TOEFL (OPIC IM2 or higher, TOEIC SPEAKING 130 or higher)
* Scores must be submitted within the application period for the English test (it must be a valid grade based on the English test date).
* Foreign students who take the Korean Proficiency Test (TOPIK) are exempted from the English test when achieving Level 4 or higher.
2. Comprehensive Exam
Eligibility to apply
* Those with a master's degree course of 15 credits or more, a doctoral course of 48 credits or more, and a total GPA of 3.0 or more.
Application period: Applications are to be submitted to the department office at the beginning of the semester according to the dates specified on the beginning on the academic calendar.
* Examination and acceptance are subject to by-laws.
3. Intermediate test
Eligibility for application
* A person with a combined master's and doctoral degree who earned at least 15 credits and a total average of 3.0 or higher.
Application period: Applications are to be submitted to the department office at the beginning of the semester according to the dates specified on the academic calendar.
Examination subjects and acceptance of acceptance are subject to the department's bylaws.
