Department of Materials Science and Engineering

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering was established to cultivate advanced engineers in the field of materials engineering. Majors include metallic materials, ceramic materials, composite materials and electronic materials. Systematic and in-depth education is provided on material properties, manufacturing and application development. In particular, an emphasis is placed on equipping students with professionalism, creativity, and initiative by allowing graduate students to set up, execute, and review their own research projects.
